type='text'>On the Edge of the Millennium

Old Forunner's site. No longer changeable. My email link does not work on that site.

On the Edge of the Millennium (Written in 1999)

Here we sit on the edge of the Millennium. There are 6 billion of us. The ecosystem is rapidly failing under the onslaught of irrational human behavior. The issues of life and death for millions and millions of people is swept under the carpet of politics, religion, and economics. Cardboard issues and dog and pony shows are created and presented to the population of the world to keep our minds occupied as we do the work we have to do to gain permission to breathe, eat, and not die of exposure from those who are insane in their fear and lust for power and status.

Most people in the world know that millions of years ago something killed off the Great Dinosaurs, that in a very brief period of time Life all over the planet was kicked down from abundance to near extinction. Few people have heard that since that time, Life has been kicked down even closer to total extinction twice, both times by vast increases in the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere caused by unknown forces. Now we are willingly creating a vast extinction, even including the releasing of vast amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, in the name of 'economics'.

I sometimes wonder when Humanity will be able to afford to save the planet. As far as I can tell, it is 'economics' which is killing us and 'economics' which is determining our efforts to survive. It is economics which determines what we see, hear, and talk about, where resources go and why, what politicians, "our glorious leaders" do and say, who gets to eat and drink, who lives and who dies, who gets medical help and who does not, and most of all, what is considered 'practical' and 'reasonable'.

We are told that economics is an 'exchange' system, not a 'control' system, yet governments use economics to decide what it can do and what it cannot do, backed up by violence, and corporations use 'economics' to decide what part of the ecosystem is to be sacrificed and what part is not yet economic to sacrifice, backed up by violence.

And yet, 'economics' is a collective invention of the human mind, a conceptual and almost completely arbitrary system of evaluation based upon human opinion. Along with the observably silly concept that the only thing that really exists is human thought, 'economics' decides what humans are going to do, even when faced with horror.

It's like a vast comical self-imposed ordeal where we make up an arbitrary test to determine who lives and who dies, where the test imposes an arbitrary standard for who is 'the best and brightest'... then, in the end, kills everyone off because the inherent values of Nature are so different than the arbitrary values of 'economics' that the world is not livable at the end of the test, which is when the test is forced to be over for lack of test takers.

What a great reward! Get the highest grade and have the honor of being the last of your species dying in a totally destroyed world!

It's not that we don't know the answers that lead to survival amide plenty. We know what we must do to survive, even to live in great prosperity amide an ecologically sound Nature, but even those answers are evaluated in numbers followed by vast fields of zeros, and are not considered 'practical' or 'reasonable' by most people.

Because 'economics' is arbitrarily limited, when we look at the problems and solutions, it appears that there cannot be prosperity and survival at the same time, so Humanity cannot afford to survive. I sometimes wonder how bad it will get before it is 'cost effective' to fix our ways and start doing something about surviving.

Will the air have to be almost unbreathable?

Will naked sunlight have to be deadly from UV before we face our irrationality?

Will most life on the planet have to be extinct before we can 'afford' to start changing our ways despite 'economics'? Or perhaps a few people living in underground cities will continue the game of economics, buying and eating each others bodies, buying air and water, their lives a living hell, until they cannot afford to exist any longer and die off also…

If I thought 'economics' was here to stay, I would not even be trying to save the planet.

But there is more to the world than the arrogance of the tool using species.

It's not like we are an accident, or that there are not forces of synergy to our existance which extends far beyond our egotistical concepts of what is 'practical' and 'reasonable'.

I see no Armageddon in our future, nor wandering tribes of diseased and dying 'scavenger/warriors' living off the rubble of our civilization. And I know one thing for sure, we have all heard the cynics announce 'It will never happen' too many times on major changes and then watched those changes happen anyway in our lives to think human behavior is fixed into irrationality and omnisuicide.

No, I see that what is ubiquitous to us now globally, seemingly so totally powerful as to rival God, which seems total in it's control of every moment of our lives, may well be literally gone in a generation or two, perhaps even sooner.

'Economics' will not survive, and humanity will.

Why do I think that? Because we do know the answers now, and we do want to not only survive but live in an ecologically sound prosperity on a global basis.

We are realizing that war and poverty and social insanity is not 'built in' or here to stay. We are realizing that the old 'solutions' are the cause of the old 'problems' in insane cycles of misery. We know what needs to be changed now and more and more are having the realization that our past systems do not work, are not 'practical' nor 'reasonable', that the real basis of survival is ecology and community, and not force and 'economics'.

It is evident that those conceptual systems which do not reflect the reality of our common world and it's ecosystem's survival will be swept away by the simple expression of billions of people giving those unsurvivable conceptual systems up on their own, out of individual choice, resulting in those people joining others in living free.

Our institutions will not do it.

Our governments will not do it.

Our religious establishments will not do it.

Our militaries will not do it.

Only the people, individually and together, will do it despite the intransigence of all our social entities. And that is as it should be.

We need no loud and bloody revolution, just a quiet and peaceful evolution of mind and the change in behavior that brings in our lives.

We need no fixed philosophy or theology or traditions that all must agree upon, we just need people to realize they have the power to make the choice, so they can dedicate themselves to living together as mutually caring, compassionate equals.

We need no leaders or pundits or gurus, just individuals looking through and past the existing systems which promise much and deliver little to the prosperity and health beyond. It won't be done because of edict or pronouncement, but from the individual's love for their children and their concern for the energy and beauty of Nature, our Outer Self.

The time is coming to end the 'economic' drain, and live the beauty of our Natural existence. We will make it or break it together, omniprosperity or omnisuicide, as we individually decide and from that decision, what we collectively do. I am not a utopian, nor even an optimist... I am a rational pragmatist, looking at the world without bias, and seeing that the answers are known and widespread, and that people are seeing through the insanity, and looking for answers.

Bottom Line: Slavery

This is specifically a political blog entry:

I study people's views. I try to understand where people are coming from when they put out their opinions.

Over the years, it became obvious to me that all the political parties/philosophies had the same basis, the same bottom line, and all were bickering only about what was above that bottom line.

And that bottom line is the money system.

The Left wing sees the use of money as an unequal system of control which would work if it had a balancing factor.

The Right wing sees money as freedom and basically a merit system, where those who can get the most are superior to those who fail to get lots of it.

The Left wants to take away the aspects of the system which imposes draconion economic conditions on people who are not the winners of the system.

The Right wants to let the economic system rule itself, so the winners of the system can do what they like to the losers in the system.

Both talk about freedom like the other is trying to take it away from everyone. And I think that is true, basically because they cannot see the reality of life. They both assume that the money system is inherent in life and will always be inherent in life.

So, from my perspective, the Left wants to set up a Social Fascism.
The Right wants to set up an Economic Fascism.
Neither has the slightest clue what Freedom is.

To me, it's like two slaves, locked in chains, are arguing about what they can reach despite their chains. They are arguing about what direction they should stretch their legs out to reach farther, left or right.

They are both arguing that they are freer if they stretch their legs out in their favorite directions.

And they are so insane about it, both are afraid the other will kill him. So they rage and scream and threaten each other.

Meanwhile, the slave master watches, glad the two slaves are so occupied with their raging argument that they don't notice that if they worked together, they could take the chains off and really be free. That is the slave master's worse nightmare.

And the slave master is also chained, although his chains is made of gold plated steel. And the slave master is as chained as they are, not realizing if he freed the two slaves and all three of them worked together, they would all be freer than they are now, far far freer. They might even break out of their prison into the sunlight.

They are all so utterly naive!

And the prison is going to eventually collapse on their head. The walls are cracking, the roof sinking in, the pillars flaking under the stress. They know this, but they ignore it. They can't even imagine the prison collapsing. That is so sad!

The Zeitgeist Movement

I have long said on my blogs, my elists, and in emails to all kinds of people, that a Transformation was coming, was in the near future, that without it the Human species would destroy itself, either directly through weaponry, or through destroying the environment we rely 100% upon, and now I see the beginnings of that Transformation.

It's never been that I'm specifically 'Anti-' anything. It's been that all the existing systems are so destructive that despite the massive advances of technology and wealth that has been generated by the people of the world, these systems are capable of destroying us all... and will if we don't find better ways to doing things. The existing systems are, in their fantasy beliefs, conclusions, and practices, suicidal. In modern times, they are lumped together in a philosophy called 'Social Darwinism', which is the basis for Capitalism and nationalism and militarism.

I have railed about the misuse of technology, seeing that it all comes from Nature, through innovative use of natural forces, yet the social systems are made up of whole cloth, with no natural forces involved other than symbols which cause abuse of people's energy, attention, and enterprise, for the control of a tiny few. Not to mention the sacrifice of others lives on a scale far greater than the famous genocides in the past.

And it's quickly seen as the result of the perception of 'scarcity', the idea that everything comes from people, that everything is scarce, and that the system elevates the 'superior' people to get what is scarce. Such arrogance is a matter of ignoring everything that points to Nature as the real source of everything. Paying attention to nature reveals the illusion of the belief in scarcity as well as the belief in 'superiority'. We are all really equal, and we all have the same needs and requirements for life, the same curiosities, drive for knowledge, and search for happiness. We are all part of, one with, the same nature.

And the choice is not 'what do we want' anymore... it's what do we HAVE to do, to believe, to act upon, to survive.

The misapplied use of Darwin's theories, that 'Only The Strong Survive' started to fade when people found out that the Dinosaurs, the largest, strongest, creatures in the history of the world, did not survive. They died out because of events they could do nothing whatsoever about. Strength alone is not enough. And conveniently ignored by the Social Darwinist, Darwin himself said it.

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” -Charles Darwin

Science and philosophy changed... they realized the true Law of Nature is 'Adapt or die'. Yet the large ancient social systems of competition, which is incredibly wasteful and destructive, did not change. They still think 'superior' people are filtered by the system so the best to rule do the ruling. The Winners win.

And the result is suicidal. The result is a ruling class that thinks the resources are infinite and if they make a profit, anything they do is right.

So along comes:

Zeit⋅geist
[tsahyt-gahyst] –noun German.
the spirit of the time; general trend of thought or feeling characteristic of a particular period of time.

Now, there is a new dynamic arising...

The Zeitgeist Movement

This movement, or some effort just like it, will usher in the Transformation.

The Goal:

I will list not what it will end, but what it will provide:

You will be able to order and use anything you wish without working for it.

You will be able to do anything you wish without having to obey someone who pays you money to live on or 'support' your family.

You will live in an unpolluted environment that is sustainable.

You will have unlimited time with your family, along with whatever help you need to have good relationships with your family.

You will be able to travel anywhere in the world easily and comfortably.

You will be able to follow your interests and fully commit to creating anything you wish to do.

There will be very little fear in your life, and almost no crime in the world. Most crime is caused by the existing systems.

There will be no war or terrorism.

Without the stress of the existing systems, most people will be nicer and friendlier.

You will have a level of freedom that has never existed in the world before.

And you can be assured that your children and their children will live with the same security, wealth access, and beauty you have in a clean and sustainable environment of freedom.

And since the first thought you will have reading this is 'this is just another utopian dream', let me remind you that 'utopa' means 'no place'... That is, Humanity loves problems, and will create quite enough to please anyone who like solving them, but they need not be global, or kill people en mass like the problems now.

No, it will not be a fantasy utopia.

The existant cultural belief is that Human Nature is inherently evil, lazy, selfish, and competitive. 'Evil' comes from the dogma of religions that want people to think they are evil until they obey the religion, and also the horrific actions of small numbers of people in insanely slaughtering other people. 'Lazy' comes from slave owners saying their slaves are 'lazy' because they don't work hard enough for their Master's benefit. Selfish comes from those who are fearful of not having enough. The Transformation alleviates that condition. And certainly, the generosity of the people of the world belies that assumption.

'Human Nature' is every way people can be, not some horrific nasty definition that says humans are naturally evil or competitive or selfish. Thanks to the Internet, we know now that the vast majority of people on the planet volunteer some of their time and effort to help others, in large social and small personal ways.

So please, listen to the site's video, although it is long and educational, for the most important aspects of the future are not going to be 'sound bites' and 'cliches' and they will require your self-education, participation, and agreement.

"It is the integrity of each individual human that is in final examination. On personal integrity hangs humanity's fate. You can deceive others, you can deceive your brain-self, but you can't deceive your mind-self — for mind deals only in the discovery of truth and the interrelationship of all truths. The cosmic laws with which mind deals are incorruptible."

"We are called to be architects of the future, not its victims."
-R. Buckminster Fuller

The question is, do you want a better world for your children and grandchildren?

I will leave you with another quote from R. Buckminster Fuller:

"Something hit me very hard once, thinking about what one little man could do. Think of the Queen Mary — the whole ship goes by and then comes the rudder. And there's a tiny thing at the edge of the rudder called a trimtab.
It's a miniature rudder. Just moving the little trim tab builds a low pressure that pulls the rudder around. Takes almost no effort at all. So I said that the little individual can be a trimtab. Society thinks it's going right by you, that it's left you altogether. But if you're doing dynamic things mentally, the fact is that you can just put your foot out like that and the whole big ship of state is going to go.
So I said, call me Trimtab."

The Corruption of Capitolism

Consider the possibility that nothing you read in the news about the 'Financial Disaster' is true, including the terms they use to describe it.

First, let's propose that a bunch of rich aristocrats with a 'winner/loser' paradigm decide they have an opportunity to gut the government, to them, it's a Game and money is a scorecard.

Their common subcultural worldview says that if someone is weak, then the strong should gut them. It's a form of 'Social Darwinism' common among those with the 'winner/loser' paradigm. On lower social scales, it's expressed as 'if you have an opportunity to gain, regardless of morality, then you seize that opportunity ---which means if someone who thinks in these terms walks by something they could steal, and they can get away with it, they will steal it, even if they have no use for it, and no other gain will occur. The act is enough thrill for them. They feel like 'winners'.

So these rich aristocrats see an opportunity to gut the government, steal more money than most people can imagine. To do this, they need to use the 'weaknesses' of the voting system to put the right gang of thieves into the White House. They rig the election, and in a coup, and with the help of other bought and paid for servants in the government, they set a very dumb rich guy as President and a conniving member of their own group in as Vice President.

There is a social algorithm in place in the world that says... if your country is at war, you support that war without question, and any words said against it is traitorous and the sayer should be killed or at least locked up and gagged. This algorythem, which goes back thousands of years in our global culture, is a perfect way to distract the population from noticing what is actually going on, as well as a great justification for hiding things under the guise of 'National Security'.

By going to war, those who set out to gut the American Government could do anything, and distract the population from even noticing as they did it. To get the people into the right frame of mind to accept the social algorithm of War needed something dramatic, something that would make every person feel personal fear.

What do you think that was? lol

So... War was declared. The justification for war could be literally anything. They could lie and get away with it, or just point to something they could define as horrible, and the people, their minds locked in the 'war' mode, would not question it. The instilled fear, amplified through the media the 'Aristocrats' owned, closed down the ability for most people to even think about anything but the War... when the common person has a moment to actually think about anything but making money, that is..

The war was great... the Aristocrats took the oil without anyone in power being aware of it, storing it away somewhere for future leverage in the Game. The War, and the death of the soldiers, who the Aristocrats don't care about, kept everyone's minds away from the question... 'who is getting the oil and the money in the War?'

Then the four year window of opportunity drew to a close. Enough people had started seeing through the Game despite the Aristocrat owned media that they could not hide their ill-gotten blood money very much longer. They needed another distraction, especially when they realized they could not rig the next election because everyone was looking hard at the process. They have bought and paid for Presidents, Kings, and suchlike for millennia, but conditions have changed, it's not so easy anymore.

Meanwhile, the executives in the corporations who were the tools of much of the theft of oil and money needed to be given what they were promised. They were to be elevated to the status of Aristocrats, which those executives thought was a matter of money... although it is not. So they set up the 'Financial Crisis', both to keep everyone's minds on that issue, and to hide their big Game in the controversy.

The way they did it was ingenuous... they managed to set up the system to collapse unless the government gave it the Treasury. Then, from that money, with no conditions on it, they paid off the executives that helped them, AND handicapped the new President from really seeing what had gone on.

They don't really care now if the War continues or not, and they don't care if millions are hurt by it. To them, everyone who loses in the Game are Losers and deserve what they get. It's a holdover from the 'Trial By Combat' ancient morality, which is still the basis of the modern 'winner/loser' paradigm and capitalism itself.

But this is not the middle ages. This is not royalty vs peasants. The reason the royalty gave up the whole system back then was because peasants were very hard to control. There were far more rebellions under that royalty system than there are 'strikes' now, and far less aristocrats are strung up by the neck by mobs.

They have, I hope, radicalized the people of the world into thinking in new terms...
Slowly, alternatives to capitalistic insanity is coming into focus. Unlike all previous 'isms', the new alternatives are not based upon the old categories and have a far better chance of generating sanity in the Human species.

It important to realize that capitalism, the use of symbols to control everyone's efforts, is a filter system for allowing psychopaths and 'winners' to rise to the top, to control the world if possible. They need no concentration camps, no police state, they need only the money system, and if they want to get rid of people and populations, they make sure they starve. Money, backed by organized men with guns, is the basis of power in the modern world because it can control what people decide to do in all aspects of their lives. For the 'Aristocrats', it was a perfect means of world control. Much better than Fascism or Communism or any other system.

Unfortunately for them, science is constantly finding that the system is fundamentally flawed. Despite their claims, it creates inefficiency on a level never seen before, and creates illusionist results. It cannot take into account what does not fit it, nor adapt to new conditions, so Humanity is facing it's own demise at the largest levels, created by the expedience created only by economics.

Economic Reaming Impoverishes America

Obama should call a press conference and say,
"The Republicans have refused to support this bailout bill. They want more tax cuts
for the super-rich but that kind of thinking is what got us into this mess in the first place. Republicans caused this financial meltdown and now they are blocking efforts to fix it. If you lose your job or your home, remember that the Republicans are responsible."

But no - he wants to be nice.

Bartcop.com

But I will say it! The Repugs have been looting America, and now they want to delay fixing anything until the last dollar they can get is stolen from the Government. I am ashamed that a philosophy (fairy tale) like that can be accepted by so many of my fellow countrymen. In the last days of the Bush Fiasco, the Repugs made huge 'bailouts' to the ultra rich, without any attempt to hold the recipients accountable for what they did with that money. Their goals and methods were obvious to anyone who was not seeing things through the 'republican' rosy glasses, and the results are just as obvious. Which makes their behavior now also obvious. May the leadership of the Repugs burn in hell for their greed and avarice. And may the so called Democrats 'Leaders' also face the horror of their blind acceptance of the Great American Theft.

Soooo TRUE!

"There's no point to debating ...the lunatic fringe. I am glad I was wrong. While I still don’t think the vote has much to do with who gets the job, I am glad that Obama was selected.

So, why was Obama selected? I’m not real sure, but there is not enough data yet to show the reason clearly. It could be that the financial scandal this the last year messed up the Owner’s plans. As I have said before, the Owners no longer have the clean control system they maintained over the last dozen generations... technology and Nature are changing all their equations.

I've told my friends, for years now, that it appeared to me that there is a generational divide between the older generation of Owners, (OldGen) the ones who set up the Communism-Nazi-Capitalism arrangement which produced WWII, the Cold War, and near Nuclear Sterilization of the planet, and the next generation, (YoungGen) which wants to eliminate that particular kind of social manipulation because it puts them and their families just as much in danger as everyone else on the planet. The YoungGen, I think, realized that if the Owners are to maintain their grip on the planet, they had to find ways that did not use massive fear and violence to threaten everyone. So they came up with ‘free trade’, which is a quasi- ‘world government’ form of hidden control.

But the OldGen, with access to medical advances that we bare know exists, did not die off like past generations, and they rose up and took back control, with resulted in the Bush fiat and resulting 8 years of fear and loathing throughout the world. Bush set things up with Presidential Directives so at the Owner’s command, he could take over the government and private industry anytime he liked.

( ...and while Obama is the president-elect, Bush could still take control of everything anytime, until he officially leaves office. We are not out of the boiling water yet! Also, to a large degree, if Obama actually takes control of the Oval Office and rescinds those Presidential Orders, then we can figure the ‘YoungGen’ –the younger generation, of Owners have control, but if he doesn’t, the ‘OldGen’ Owners might have control over him and through the Owner’s control system, the world. That would not be good for anyone, even them.)

Creating a shifting conceptual/social system like the Stock Market and the other seemingly gambling games we base our entire cooperation upon may have been a big mistake by the OldGen, just like dividing the two experiments called Communism and Capitalism by putting Fascism between their territories. (which produced WWII)

Humans are not the uneducated, superstitious, locally defined creatures they were in almost all past generations of Owner Rule.

The ability to communicate has grown so fast, people in our times are far more than they were, even the most uneducated, superstitious, locally defined populations. In Africa, where the Owners keep their ‘control populations’, (as in a scientific experimental sense) the average person knows more and communicates more than any past generations through radios, TVs, phones, etc, and they are transcending their usefulness as a ‘control group’ and no longer present predictable behaviors to use as a standard to compare the rest of the world to.

I doubt Obama is aware of the Owners who manipulate him, but their methods of manipulation will work just as well on him as for GWB. What the Owners will do through him is yet to be seen, but human survival rests upon the Owner’s decisions.

Do they realize the ‘economic’ social/conceptual system is obsolete as a control system and is destroying everything, and do they realize that the level of wealth production in real terms, rather than monetary terms, can give every human being a level of wealth as good as the Owner’s themselves?

Or do they, in their psychopathic condition, try to keep control of the world until they die in horror with the rest of us as the environment dies?

There was a turning point, although very few seem aware of it, back in 1984 when the world came within minutes of Nuclear sterilization –BY ACCIDENT- three times in a single week.

After that event, the USSR dissolved and a lot changed for the better. This was the result, I think, of the YoungGen facing the fact that they had to take control from the OldGen, because the OldGen could not adapt to the ongoing changes caused by technology’s acceleration of acceleration of discoveries and developments.

This election results might well be another turning point, because it has caused the non-Owner populations of the world to realize that change for the better can happen.

As the Owners lose control of the world, as they must, voluntarily or involuntarily, the Transformation of Humanity either to a mature species or a dead one will continue apace, and survival relies on how fast we individually see through the Owner’s old conceptual/social control systems and find out who we really are and how we must cooperate together to do what is required.

And since I am absolutely convinced that we are designed by evolution, (or whatever you want to call That which brought us into existence), to succeed, I am very optimistic.

2008 "Elections" Superbowl in our "Democracy" League

With both the Demo-rats and the Repugni-cons cheering for Obama, it makes me almost certain that McCain will be appointed the next figurehead by those who hire Presidents.

Watching the coups happen election after election doesn't seem to take away much from the once every four year entertainment, and with the only other option pure cynicism, since everyone knows the USA will not have a civil war over a TV show, I think we can figure on four more years of lies, diversions, and bodybags no matter what flavor the flow of words used, demo-sweet or repub-sour. Why do the president buyers want this? For economic (population behavior control) reasons, I.E. their grand plan for our planet based upon their economic ideology.

The economic peaks and valleys seem to flow around the planet, the current peaks now in China/India and Europe. So as it continues to follow the macro-rules of conceptual economics, it will reach here about the time your great great grandchildren are adults. (...Considering a lot of you have grandchildren now.) The patterns of industrial development under the retarding principles of economics seems to be shorter, probably because of advances in technology smoothing out the cycle. It seems to have a lot to do with how long factories can be economically viable without massive rebuilding investments. Because economics requires a deep poverty just in front of the economic wave, America will be the 21 century equivalent of a 3rd world country before that wave reaches us.

The only way you can sustain that level of poverty is through direct suppressive force, which means that America must continue to grow ever more like a banana republic, with more political oppression and the fiction of political rights fading into obscurity. The reason is to prepare the public for the next wave, to motivate them to work harder for less in the new factories which will be built as that wave hits this part of the planet.

And for you three people who might still be reading this against the social programming to ignore the 'crazy' ranter, the next wave will include Central and South America, which will lower the rate of poverty to the level required for skilled workers, and by lowering the standard of living in the US, will even out the difference.

And of course, this is the plan, but not the actual result. Technology tends to exceed the plans of those who make the macro-decisions for the socially manipulated populations. It is unlikely that this wave will actually occur, mainly because factories will not require workers by that time. Many factories in Japan now, for instance, have only ten or twelve workers producing what it used to take thousands of workers to produce. This same trend, also compelled by economics, is showing up in India and China as we speak, causing a lot of turmoil as the unemployment rate goes up despite the building of amazingly massive construction of factories all over those most populated parts of the world.

And, of course, the environment will make macro-plans totally fail. In light of the massive pollution and energy requirements caused by all those factories in China, (alone more than the total of all factories built in the rest of the world put together, I read somewhere,) and the economically driven requirement that they have to go through the polluting stage of development, the race for that huge Country is whether or not the economy will out pace the environmental destruction it causes. But which is real? The economy or the environment? They will find out the hard way although both China and India are paying some attention to alternative forms of non-polluting technologies.

But paying attention to alternatives is meaningless on the scale of experimental projects. If they build ten polluting manufacturing processes for each one tiny experimental alternative, then their only making lip service to alternatives, just like America is. Like America does to the facts of living under a tyranny of the minority called a Republic, calling it a democracy, or pretending that voting has something to do with who gets the job of president... since it is obvious to anyone who is really paying attention that those who are in the 'running' are pre-chosen, as is the outcome.

So enjoy the show. Consider it a super-bowl, only in another sport, performed for your amusement and pacification.

Reality Intrudes into our Fantasy

> 9/11 Truth Manifesto
>
> By Joel S. Years
> of a bipartisan cover-up of 9/11 lies make it much
> more than one horrendous past event.
> It endures in infamy as a symptom of a corrupt and
> dishonest government.

As long as we mis-identify a 'Republic' as a democracy,

and as long as we think a political government is anything more than than the tyranny of the minority,

and as long as we think all we have to do is apply ourselves 15 minutes every four years to the task of self-government,

we deserve what we get.

Illusion is illusion... it is not what it seems to be. People must realize that self-government is as important as raising their children, or staying alive on the freeway, or keeping their relationships going, or any other aspect of survival.

We live in a world where gun backed Scrooges run the show, works everyone harder and harder to benefit them, defines the very thoughts which we accept from our culture... and in the fog of illusion, we also accept that nothing else is better, that there can be no better way to do things, and that the little bit of fluff people get from their intense efforts is the only thing keeping them from starving and homelessness.

As one who has seen the perspectives grown from the ends of the game, from riches to homelessness, from middle class to The Farm, there is a better way but people are so heavily brainwashed they cannot conceptually grasp it without great effort, and it cannot exist until enough people do grasp it.

But unless it has already existed, has been shown to work already, and is fully formed in every aspect, nobody will put the effort out to even try to learn it.

Geodesic direct democracy. There is no other answer!

Like it or lump it. Do it or accept the illusion that any of us has anything to do with which man backed by other organized men with guns runs the matrix of our lives and makes the rules which we think in.

After all, although it has never worked, caused massive human suffering throughout human history, and killed millions, (AND is destroying our world's ecology,) political government is what we know, and therefore all we will try to know.

Political government is rule by gangster, nothing else, regardless how fancy the words used to describe it.

Merry Christmas

From Raging Brains & Burning Hearts

From http://www.earthrainbownetwork.com/

This page at http://www.earthrainbownetwork.com/RagingBrains.htm

Some of the Principles of Large Scale Social Slavery.

Partial List of Rules for keeping a population enslaved:

Prime Strategy: To Conquer, Divide, To Keep Conquered, Keep Divided
(Call it 'government', 'corporations', 'special interests', 'religions',
'nations', 'ethnic groups', 'races', 'economics', and many more) If
applied with enough distracting interrelated synergistic control
systems, the enslaved population can be any size whatsoever. An
effective slave system will be taken for granted by the slaves, and
their slavery not even noticed.

(Desired Result of Prime Strategy) To cause slaves to conclude
everything is unchangeable and anything they hear is unbelievable...
Make slaves fear each other and fear cooperating in any way outside the
control systems... Make sure the slaves intrinsically blame each other
cynically for everything that happens. (Call it 'human nature' and make
sure all believe it of others)

Keep the slave population totally occupied attaining the right to live.
Make them base their self-worth on slaving, so they will hate anyone who
does not slave away their lives. Have the very definition of a good life
be slaving, and have any failure to prosper from slaving always be
considered the fault of the slave, not the system.

Also, no slave is as enthusiastically enslaved or works harder, even at
makework, than a slave who is convinced he or she is free. (Call it
'work' or 'employment' and for the smart ones, call it 'professions' and
let them have attitudes and specialties, so they will believe
nothing but approved information.)

Concentrate the slave's minds on a system of 'permission' symbols which
give access to life support and goods to make their lives fractionally
easier. Allow more freedom for more symbols, so slaves will seek it ever
harder and give up all human decency to attain it. Have the acquisition
of the symbols be the very definition of 'practical' so the system will
define all activity and prevent all actions not included in the system.

Let slaves who cannot acquire the symbols die in horrible conditions of
starvation, lack of sanitary conditions, diseases, lack of shelter, and
make sure they are considered unworthy of life by most slaves.
Sacrificing a few slaves to horrible torturous deaths has long proven to
scare the rest into non-thinking obedience to the system. (Call it
'money' and make them think what they get using it is 'theirs'.) Force
all slaves to use it whenever they cooperate in any way, as long as they
give back some of the symbols each time, to support the illusion that
the system is supported by the slaves. (Call it 'taxes') Be sure to make
them believe that the symbols are theirs by virtue of their work.
Control the worth of the symbols and the availability so as to force the
slaves into doing what you want without having to use direct force.
(Call it 'interest rates', 'government contracts', and 'pay') Keep the
symbols scarce, so they have to continuously work harder and harder to
get tiny quantities of technologically easily made goods, and they will
never notice that what they get is the tiniest of leftovers from what is
taken from them... (Call it all 'economics')

Bombard the slaves, and especially their children, with enticements to
keep them motivated to consume more, and include social messages within
each enticement, so they will think they are less than others in wealth.
(Call it 'advertising') Concentrate all acts of violence and aberrant
behavior as if they occur nearby, so as to keep them both fearful and
cynical, convinced that 'human nature' is evil and dysfunctional
everywhere, so they will never work together outside control systems.
(Call it 'news media')

Keep continuous mass shows, some silly, some sillier, and some extreme
competitions to provide relief from the pressure of attaining the right
to live, producing an effect worse than drugs. (Call them 'sitcoms' and
'sports')

For every word of truth that escapes or is generated by malcontent
slaves, make sure a million slightly different versions are circulated,
some pro, some con. For convincing the slaves that a lie is true, place
the same story out to all slaves over and over again. This will also
make sure that anything that happens but is not in an 'official' story
is disregarded as a non-event. (Call it 'the media')

Divide the world up into turfs, with the enslaved populations
identifying with their turf symbols, and keep an organized subculture of
brainwashed fanatics for each turf, and fight them with each other as a
lesson to all the slaves, to keep them in fear. (Call the symbols
'flags' and the subculture the 'military') Use the subculture against
the turf population if control starts to slip.

Create a document each turf population will worship even if it is just
words on paper. (Call it a 'constitution') Let them believe the document
defines the rules of the 'turf', when actually it defines only their
social beliefs. Cause ideological conflict between those who hold
different interpretations of the document, following the Prime Strategy.

Provide an illusion of control, through a fake selection of rulers.
(Call them 'elections' and 'candidates') Make sure a few 'Turfs' have
the appearance of old style slavery, using mass murder and rule by whim
by figurehead leaders, to make the slaves in turfs with fake selection
of rulers appreciate the illusion of control.

Tell the Slaves that the rules make them free and that they choose them.
(Call them 'laws' and violently suppress anyone who breaks them. It's a
good way to keep those who see through this process down and keep order
for better control.) In the minds of the slaves, equate the
revolutionary, the violent criminal, the non-violent criminal, and the
poorest of the population, so the majority of the slaves will consider
them all the same threat.

Create a huge bureaucracy that proclaims to speak for God, and the
slaves will follow orders and work hard even if they kill themselves in
the process. (Call it 'religion'.)

Make those slaves who reject the various God bureaucracies believe that
what they think generate Universe, that their egos are the center of
Universe, for then the slaves can only blame themselves, will never
cooperate to change anything, and thereby never DO anything outside the
control systems. (Call it 'spirituality' or 'atheism'.)

Forerunners: : Humanity must find it's natural way of living and loving,
of organizing together for mutual support, in the expression of real
human values. The idolatry of symbols and power must end!

As one of the greatest teachers in history stated; "Ye shall know them
by their love."

Some Other Thoughts:

If anything can be believed in, why believe in anything? Why hold on to
conceptual fantasies when we walk around in a world so wondrous and
beautiful that no amount of words, thoughts, or images can fully
describe even a tiny portion of it.

The observation that 'I think, therefore I am' which is the most basic
axiom of Western Civilization, is only a minor subset of the real most
basic observation of life, that is 'All that is, IS'. The FORMER merely
inflates the ego, declaring it supreme, and makes for concepts which
destroy or despoil the world, while the LATTER, as the most basic of
axioms, makes for a mind of inquiry, holding the ego secondary, and
which makes for a 'benchmark' of what works and what doesn't that allows
actions without destruction, true awareness of the worth of compassion,
and adaptation without despoliation.

To consider ecological and cultural sanity impractical is the most
extreme and subtle of insanities, yet it is the very basis of all
existing subcultures on this planet. It is why conditions get worse
despite all the efforts of groups and individuals who see the
destruction of the environment and the tragic unnecessary sacrifice of
human life and potential to poverty and ignorance.

Global social and environmental problems result not purely from
individual actions... Nor will the problems be solved by any individual
alone... The problems result from large scale individual actions within
the axiomatic confines of social convention. To solve this problem,
more and more people have to think 'outside the lines' of these social
axioms and algorithms and work together to change those axioms and
algorithms through group example. Luckily, it does not take a high
percentage of humanity to make a great difference, only a tiny fraction.
But it is significant that there is no way to cause change through
existing social outlets... they are designed to give the illusion of
being a means of change, and yet not effect or alter the ongoing
irrational processes of decision making whatsoever. Most of them do not
realize these limitations, and would deny the existence of any
limitations.

Evolution is continuing. To realize that evolution is not a process of
chance but rather the intelligent actions of a planetary ecoentity that
arose from biochemical and energetic processes inherent in Universe is
to suddenly see that all that is going on in this world comes from
ignorance of this fact. To know that conscious evolution proceeds from
a synergistic consciousness made up of all the conscious beings on this
planet, within a field generated by all Life on this planet, is to know
that change will proceed apace and towards Global human sanity. Knowing
this give great wisdom, and the loss of all fear, even of death, for
suddenly we know we are part of something greater, which values us and
which moves in our hearts and minds and in the hearts and minds of
Humanity. One with all life on the planet, that life being an
intelligent being, we are Evolution.

Egocentric 'spirituality' is just words. Saying 'God is love' or 'We
are One.' from an ego belief is bogus unless it is preceded by the
transformation of the mind through the understanding of the relationship
of the ego to Universe, the realization of the Real Mind, and most of
all, the compassionate actions such transformation generates. This
takes great effort, for to transcend the ego is a door into sanity, and
it is not done through exterior artifacts or exercises, nor through
thoughts and beliefs. Beliefs are irrelevant to the knowledge gained by
the experience of dropping the ego completely and accepting the
resulting perceptions. This is not a subtle phenomena, nor is it
reached through any gradual 'path', but is an overwhelming, yet
perfectly natural experience that lasts only moments and yet changes
everything. With that experience, all doubts are lost, all fear
disappears, especially of death, and all of Universe is valued to it's
true measure. It causes permanent change, and that change is reflected
in actions which benefit others profoundly.

This is not to say that compassion and love cannot be expressed by
anyone anywhere, for the basis of our lives are our Real Mind, not our
egos, and while beliefs are irrelevant to most actions taken by most
people, with the ego rationalizing each action and claiming it as it's
own, most of what goes on in the world is not sourced in the ego but in
the Real Mind. Without this larger interaction, insane control systems
would have killed off all life long ago. But despite their seeming total
ubiquitous nature, the control systems are still superficial, a thin
veneer over the actual dynamics of life, even human life. We but need
to realize that, and get rid of the destructive corrosion.

"Work" is not what we do when we go somewhere and spend our lives
following someone else's instructions doing activities that are far
below our potential and which either does no good or does damage to the
Planet. The Human Control system we are forced by violence to accept
and which limits our existence and actions has no relationship to what
is required to survive on this planet. There is something called 'right
livelihood' in Buddhism which really defines what true work is, and with
an understanding of environment thrown in, Right Livelihood should guide
all young people into work which will allow them to do real work in the
world, work worth doing. To do work worth doing is more fulfilling in
life, and better for all, than to do work which pays a lot of money, but
which traps your soul into an illusionary hell that winds down to
eventual planetary death.

To live in an intentional participatory community is to live a full
experience far exceeding most people's lives. The friendships, the
entertainment, even the work is not much like living in the divided
society most of us have experienced most of our lives. The feeling of
belonging causes a security not found outside such communities, and even
the problems are more interesting. I have lived in both dysfunctional
and extremely functional communities, and find that even a dysfunctional
communities are more interesting than living as a 'nuclear family' or
alone. Dysfunctional communities don't last long, but functional
communities tend to create lifelong friends. No individuality is lost,
although some bad habits may fade in importance, and so much is gained,
that, in my opinion, it is natural to join with others in community, and
forge a future together.

=======================================================
AND IN RESPONSE TO ED ELKIN WHO WROTE - WHEN INTRODUCING ROAN'S NEWSLETTER TO HIS LIST:

"Note that the overall message is hopeful and positive, although it may not at
first seem so. In my initial comments back to Roan with whom I've exchanged ideas for well over a year, but never met in person, I wrote, in part,

"I'm glad that you end on a positive note..... and see a light at the end of
the tunnel.

My perception is that the "tunnel" isn't quite as black and full of demons
as you portray it and that it's even possible to enjoy the journey through.
Admittedly, billions of us on the planet suffer a living hell, but there are
enough of us awakening to begin the transformation process toward the light. Thanks for the stimulation of sharing your truth. For me, it is far more useful to make 'energetic progress in the good' than to rail against that which I oppose.... which only feeds its destructive energy by adding to the amount of negativity on the planet."

(end of quote from Ed Elkin)

ROAN HAD THIS COMMENT:

Ed, my friend,

I used to just think and talk purely positive viewpoints. Then one day I noticed that a large number of people I knew, who also just thought and talked positive stuff DID only negative stuff and either didn't realize it or always rationalized their actions through twisting their viewpoint to make it positive... Usually they would not think about what they actually did, and blinder their perceptions to see only what their egos wanted them to see, which allowed them to do negative or apathetic actions, for some reason they did not think about either, seeing it as 'normal' or 'practical'.

I realized that positive thinking was not enough. To understand the problem is
to overcome it. To understand the problem and communicate that understanding to
others is a very positive thing to do, because it helps them perceive it and then overcome it. And the solutions are never just in what we think, nor what we say, but in what we do also. Positive thoughts can be literally any thoughts, about anything, and actions can be negative even if the thoughts are positive. If ego belief is the only criteria, then anything goes and the world does not change for the better.

I am not putting negativity out into the world. I am putting positive stuff into
the world, because what I am putting out is a very large set of questions each
has to face when reading my posts. Even if they file away my posts in their
'crazy' or 'negative' folder, they will continue on in their lives, and Life
itself will keep giving them experiences which will make my filed words jump out
of the folder.

Then one day it will jump up in their laps and they will have to face the
transformation of their own minds. The world will then be different to them, and they will act upon that difference, and the planet will be that much closer to survivability and the love we know is it's rightful harmony. That transformation is not conceivable to the ego, but it is as real as anything that exists.

Egocentric spirituality is pretty much bogus because it will not accept
responsibility for what it does, only for what it thinks. It mistakes the Real
Mind with the ego, which is like mistaking a world for a tiny stone, in scale at
least. This is the essence of negativity, and is worse than cynical thought
because the actions resulting will be from apathy and rationalization. The cynic
at least does evil because he cannot see any alternative through his cynical
thought... the egocentric spiritualist can do evil while thinking it's good.
Wishful thinking is not necessarily 'positive'. To see Universe as it is, is to
know what to do, to act upon the knowledge, in physical as well as mental
action. It rarely has negative results, short term, and never in the long term.

Frankly, imho, egocentric spirituality is often pure fear and results in denial
no better than the German people's denial and fear as they saw Jews being carted
away in boxcars. More people are being killed right now than during those days,
if spread across the planet instead of concentrated, and apathy, rationalized in
a million conceptual ways, is still allowing that evil.

There is a difference between judgment and perception. To perceive evil is not
to condone it. Evil actions and words can be perceived, acted upon, and overcome.

Judgment is only of people, of them personally, and to judge a person can be to
amplify that evil they have done, or diminish it, according to what actions
(words are one kind of action) are taken after the judgment. THAT is when
non-judgement can have a real changing energy to it.

To perceive evil and not do something about it, magnifies that evil, and the
world's negativity is made greater. The newsletter was specifically positive,
even if it pointed out negative stuff, because that stuff will not change unless
folks know it exists, (can think of it in a new way so they look for the
possibility that it exists,) and effects them... if they do not know it exists
and effects them, they have no choice about it, because they do not know it
exists. As members of it, they will instead promote it, and not know they are
doing that either.

This is why saving the world is not easy -- grin

Thanks for passing the newsletter on. I respect your opinion, but felt it
necessary to clarify why my messages seem negative. The world is acting in
negative ways, and to change that requires more than just a positive attitude. I
have a positive attitude, actually an incredibly positive attitude, or I would
not have continued these efforts. I know we are far more than we think we are,
and know also that we are One in ways few have perceived. That most will
perceive this also is a given to me, although it takes my and others efforts to
do that change, and when it is a common perception, the world will change slowly
into Grace.

Love,
-Roan

Or as Roan wrote in a separate email to me: "Calling attention to a crack in a dam is not negative, and calling attention to existing conditions is not negative if they lead to people choosing to change them. Seeing through an illusion is the only way to dissolve it, but first it is required to know it is an illusion."

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Overpopulation

Casey J. Monahan wrote:

> Bucky also said that the conventional view of the 'problem' of
> overpopulation was a myth.

And it is. And Fuller also explained that in his books... The conventional view comes from the intense overpopulation of small areas through concentration of population for economic reasons, and the limiting of human habitation to just the surface of the planet. He pointed out that if all the people in Manhattan, New York, were suspended in the air in a one mile cube, each person could barely see the next in any direction.

A Skysphere City would provide a lot more living area for each person than a city of equivalent population and diameter could on the ground. Overpopulation is not the result of coming up with an arbitrary number of people and declaring that all the people beyond that is causing unacceptable damage to the ecosystem...

Overpopulation is a complex equation which must include overall density of the human population, the kind of environment in any given area, the level of technology which is in common use in the area, (Above the level of harmonic tribal technology, the lower the technology, the worse the ecological damage.), and a lot more.

If one says that any human or technological impact is too much, then they deny the reality that humans are also 100% part of the environment, having evolved from it, having applied knowledge learned from it, and being totally sustained by it. We have a place in it, including the technology we learn from it, but we have to find a harmonious niche in it also, or like all species which do not adapt, we will die.

And, of all people, Bucky Fuller made that the most clear to me.

A Defination

"A Nationalist is someone who is offended if someone
protests against the government, does not worship it's
symbols -like flags and such, does not respect it's
leader, and states any opinion which goes against
government policy or statements. When the country is
at war, a Nationalist thinks anyone who says or does
anything the government does not like should be
killed, jailed, beaten, and/or deported, period. To the
Nationalist, anyone who speaks out with a dissenting
opinion is a traitor.

A Patriot is someone who loves the people of the
country, who loves the liberty and freedom of the
country, and who will uphold the ideals of the
country by protesting against what they perceive to be
government misbehavior, mismanagement, or bad policy.
When the country is at war, a patriot who feels
the war is wrong, for whatever reason, considers it
even more important to speak up, demonstrate, and seek
to find consensus to stop the war. A Patriot may or
may not wave a flag or sing nationalist songs, but
they do not put them over the rights of the people.

Nationalists, like Nazis, Royalist, and Totalitarian
Communists, have always been the bane of freedom,
seeking from their cowardice to lock down all
freedom with an extreme set of rules which they alone
gladly obey, in lockstep fashion. In America, as the
Second Iraq War shows, Nationalists and Patriots
are deeply mixed, and the Right Wing Nationalists,
through their radio pundits, are again seeking to
destroy America through their twisted fear of
freedom and Liberty. Nationalists have never failed to
destroy the ideals and eventually the existence of
their countries through perpetual war and internal
oppression. For examples, look at Nazi Germany and
Stalinist Russia."

I posted this on a listserv long ago. It defined one of my most profound experiences
which had a lot to do with my opinion now.

> Date: Sunday, July 27, 1997 03:57 AM
>
> After putting new toenail marks on my tonsils, I was hesitant to post to
> this list for a while, but...
>
> I realized that most of the information I was being given in school was
> bogus when I was ten years old. I was at my grandmother's house high on
> a hill next to Fort Leavenworth and had just finished watching the last
> Howdy Doody Show, with the puppets and cast all bemoaning the demise of
> their employment. For the first time I realized something could end,
> and having been raised in the military, I pushed at my imagination and
> saw a vision... I saw my grandmother's house in ruins, all the trees
> blasted apart, the houses only rubble around me, and off in the
> distance, a huge crater where the Fort had been.
>
> (My IQ was about 200, so I often had extremely complex imaginative
> visions at a very early age.)
>
> The next thought was, 'if the stuff I was being taught was valid, then
> the world would not be on the edge of nuclear war.'. From then on, I
> rejected almost everything I was taught as being just another pile of
> crap. I decided I would seek to understand Universe by sampling all
> kinds of 'knowledge' and subcultures, and their mental constructions, in
> order to find out if any of it could be true or if the subcultures had
> any kind of real knowledge. Suffice it to say, I drove my teachers
> crazy and turned into one neurotic teenager. (I was one who got up and
> told the geometry teacher that the 'point' was a pile of chock, and if a
> point didn't exist, then how could we make infinite lines of them...)
>
> I started my search in the Army, becoming a Green Beret and even going
> to Officer Candidate School. After finding that the military was the
> source of most violence on the planet, and that the subculture, (as
> compared to most of the solders), was about as nasty as it could get,
> one extreme of human behavior, I dropped out of the Berets and gave up
> my commission. After I was assigned to an airborne division, the
> military ordered my division to Washington to kill protesters in a kind
> of Tien Min Square Massacre long before the Chinese slaughter, and after
> seeing through the propaganda and 'kill and not be held responsible' pep
> speeches by officers, I refused to go. I knew I was facing life in
> prison, but I would not go and kill people who were just exercising
> their rights under the Constitution... not to mention the pure
> immorality of slaughtering innocents. Remember, the Army after W.W.I
> did kill the vets who protested in Washington, and I would be no part of
> another such killing. This protest, the largest that occurred, was not
> just students, but consisted of all walks of life and many many
> children.
>
> Then I saw something so amazing I still get chills from it. When I went
> back up to my bunk, in a room with 60 other bunks, I saw man after man
> come up without a weapon, which meant that they too had refused to
> participate. An officer came up and threatened to read the Articles of
> Mutiny, but none moved. I was called down and questioned, and I told
> them why I wouldn't do it, and then sent back up, and man after man was
> called down and returned, without weapons.
>
> Then the sergeants came up with our passes and leave papers, and it was
> if the whole thing had never occurred. I rarely speak of this, because
> it was like an unwritten, unspoken agreement that it not be told. I
> assumed the Commanding General had told the big brass that the Division
> was unreliable and the solders who would go with guns may well turn on
> their own officers rather than shoot the protesters. But I saw something
> so eventful that I think it is a bit of data you all need.
>
> The men who refused were of all conceptual bent and subcultures; drug
> addicts, acid heads, alcoholics, even 'kill them all and let God sort
> them out' right wing extremists. Yet, with my own eyes, I saw them
> refuse to do that slaughter. And beyond that, the same thing happened
> in every barracks throughout that Division... thousand upon thousands of
> men of different conceptual beliefs just refusing to go to Washington
> and kill people despite the possibility of going to prison for life.
>
> I wondered at this for many years, then I read that Nixon, that weekend,
> had ordered the nuclear bombing of Hanoi to end the war once and for
> all. The Soviets had stated that if we nuked Hanoi, they would attack us
> with everything they had, and the generals around Nixon had advised him
> that it was a bluff. KGB files from that time state that they were
> prepared to carry out their Thermonuclear response. Nixon was in the
> White House because he felt it was the proper place to meet the press
> after a nuke attack on Hanoi, and found himself surrounded by protesters
> in the largest antiwar demonstration yet, and wanted us to come up and
> protect him, and end the war protests by a major show of force,
> (slaughter).
>
> When the Division refused, he realized that the protests might well
> become a mob and go through the fences and defenses of the White House
> like a lava flow through a wood home, so he canceled the Bomb and left
> town. If I, and all those many others, had gone to Washington, none of
> us would live right now to debate our concepts and efforts. If you know
> the Army, you can understand what an outrageous event it was for so many
> to refuse an order.
>
> I realized that while humans think that our conceptual models are the
> highest form of action generation, that there is something else that
> moves and motivates people on really large scales. Not just when there
> are slaughters, (look at the Nazis) or wars and such, but when the whole
> planet is threatened... by thermonuclear war, for instance. I think it
> works in individuals also, and may cause whole populations to change the
> way they think, or at least act, over time. I consider it to be the
> best evidence I have of the existence of a semi-sentient global field I
> call Gaia, a field that contains all our minds, a synergy of mind and
> biofield.
> Since, like Fuller, (but not from Fuller) I believe that intelligence is
> a phenomena of Universe existent throughout Universe, everywhere it can
> exist, (my definition of 'God'), I don't think some kind of
> 'supernatural' force affected us... I think it was supremely Natural and
> I think it is working in us all the time on some deep level. While my
> explanation of it is conjecture, the event did occur, and it was totally
> extraordinary.
>
> But because of this, I have been working on 'saving the planet' for
> thirty years. I work on it because I know it is required that someone
> work on it, but I also know it is doable. We are far more than we think
> we are, and we did not evolve to fail.
>
> My strategy is not to try to change minds, even by teaching them
> Synergetics, although that helps, but rather to change people's lives by
> altering the technology they have access to on the largest scales. Then
> they more readily change their minds, learn new and more reliable
> paradigms, to fit the new technology they personally use. I think
> computers are showing this every day, as many people who said, "I don't
> need no damn computer" are busy over keyboards all over the world.
> --
> Peace and Good Health
>
> -Roan

Back in 1977, I went to the library in San Diego one day and found a book on solar cells that described a multi-layer, multi-frequency solar cell that claimed a 60% efficiency for power production. I never heard anything about it until very recently on the Discovery Channel, where they had a segment on those cells. They were all that the book claimed about them, but said that they were too costly to produce to be economically viable.

(Going past my opinions on the destructive power of economics,) I think that economy of scale can make almost any demanded technology economically viable. It's all about investment in initial manufacturing technology and then the production of the product at a high enough rate to bring the price down to a reasonable level. This is beginning to show up in solar farm production with european corporations now creating that exact process bringing the solar farm costs down by leaps and bounds. (also featured in that same solar power show on Discovery.)

The same 'economic' problem exists for the discovery of solar paint a few years ago and applies to the conventional production of 30% efficient solar cells.

Entrenched oil interests are the only thing which are holding back solar and other alternative systems being installed, period.

An 'economic' pundit awhile ago stated on a TV interview that if all those who really wanted solar power and other alternatives would put their money where their interests lay, we could ween off oil in less than twenty years.

I agree. Expecting the oil soaked government to put up the money is not productive. I think the people who have money beyond survival needs should invest in their children's overall future by investing it in alternative power sources. Otherwise the 'economic' system will continue to up the prices on such interests as college costs and cost of living until the common people cannot survive beyond survival living and their children will lose out far more than they would otherwise.

Political action is a secondary force in human affairs. Primary is cooperation in producing a better future for all, on a mass scale. That sidesteps the government's ability to 'bind the mouths of those who tread the grain'. Both literally and figuratively.

Gaia's Superconscious: "Gaia's Superconscious "

Does your mind accept the ideas in this article?
http://www.newsday.com/news/printedition/newyork/nyc-nycons064501480nov06,0,3646064.story?coll=nyc-nynews-print

For those who cannot get there by clicking on the above URL, here is the article: (Comments below the insert)
===========================NYC Print Edition -----------------

CONSPIRACY THEORIES
The truth is out there - maybe
BY MARY VOBORILSTAFF WRITER
November 6, 2005

Sept. 11 conspiracy theories have edged into the mainstream.

In September, Fire Department chaplain candidate Imam Intikab Habib questioned whether Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida were responsible for the attacks, then quickly withdrew from the job. A short time later came a two-day conference in New York City that was built around the charge that "controlled demolition" brought down the World Trade Center.

Conspiracy books proliferate, and the Internet is such a cyber-trove of 9/11 arcana - Google the term "9/11 conspiracy," and 5.4 million entries turn up - that one site includes a primer, "Navigation for 9/11 Newbies."

As a cultural phenomenon, though, it's all been seen before: This is a conspiracy nation, and it has been almost since its founding. Those who study conspiracy rhetoric say beliefs in various 9/11 cabals are entirely predictable, that conspiracy narratives, ranging from the thoughtful and plausible to the fringy and fanciful, always have been threaded throughout American culture. (In late 2003, the 925-page "Conspiracy Theories in American History: An Encyclopedia" was published.)

Sense of comfort

A recurring trend, conspiracy theories tend to emerge after major national events as a means of making sense of the senseless.

"The most ambitious conspiracy theories are, in a way, oddly comforting to the people who hold them," said Michael Barkun, a professor of political science at Syracuse University and the author of "A Culture of Conspiracy: Apocalyptic Visions in Contemporary America," published in 2003.

Historically, Barkun said, conspiracy theories share "a number of related characteristics: that nothing happens by accident, that nothing is as it seems, that everything is connected. Conspiracy theorists have a view of the world in which there is no coincidence - nothing happens because of human stupidity or randomness. Somehow, everything is part of a pattern."

And, said Mark Fenster, a University of Florida assistant law professor whose book "Conspiracy Theories: Secrecy and Power in American Culture" was published in 1999, "The greater the trauma, the more the desire to have some sort of rational explanation for it ... a desire to have things be explicable in a cause-and-effect framework."

When an official account finally does emerge, added Chip Berlet, a senior analyst at Political Research Associates, an independent nonprofit based in Somerville, Mass., "there often aren't answers to all the questions. In any investigation, many paths lead nowhere," leaving some disgruntled, angst-ridden and suspicious.

Conspiracy theorists then "turn to the only explanation that's left, which discards randomness," said Berlet, who has studied conspiracy movements. "They develop a very comforting and simple theory that ultimately a handful of really bad people did it."

The way some people connect the dots, 9/11 was the work of the U.S. military; the Twin Towers and 7 World Trade Center were wired with explosives and deliberately blown up; a satellite-guided missile, not a hijacked jet, plowed into the Pentagon; the jet that crashed in a Pennsylvania field actually was shot down by Sidewinder missiles.

Some of those who promulgate conspiracy theories are angry and powerless, Berlet said, and to those susceptible to conspiracy theories, "they become a hero because they are sounding the alarms."

Before the Internet, alarms were sounded by word of mouth or by publications that rarely merited serious note in the mainstream media. The blogosphere changed that, with everyone now his or her own desktop publisher. Anyone with low-grade fears or suspicions can find kindred spirits almost instantly.

Seeds of fear

Some conspiracy theories spring up as an overreaction to "the fear and the loathing that occurs when there is destruction or damage," said Dr. Marc Siegel, who teaches at New York University Medical Center and whose latest book is "False Alarm: The Truth About the Epidemic of Fear."

But a contributing factor, he said, is that "the United States government and others are not inspiring confidence. You almost get a choice: You either inspire people through positive emotion or through negative emotion.

"Right now, the climate is fear. If the government is scaring people all the time, it's only about three steps away from that to distrust the government, too, and say, 'What did they do? Are they behind it?'"

"Fear easily turns to paranoia when there is a climate of distrust that the government is participating in, when you cannot trust your information sources," Siegel said.
That in turn spawns conspiracy theories, which columnist Christopher Hitchens calls "the white noise which moves in to fill the vacuity of the official version."

For all the transfiguring awfulness of 9/11, subsequent conspiracies have not overtaken the public imagination the way the Kennedy assassination did in 1963, a skepticism that persists to this day.

Conspiracy has been a recurring topic in political discourse since ancient times, though the most fertile ground has been that of American history, according to Michael William Pfau, whose book "The Political Style of Conspiracy: Chase, Sumner and Lincoln," is to be published this month.

In the 1850s, for example, the North and the South used conspiracy theories to discredit each other. Southerners feared that Northerners conspired to create slave revolts because the North sought to destroy the institution of slavery. Northerners believed that Southerners were determined to spread slavery throughout the Western states. The Republican party, Pfau says, rose to power in 1860 partly through the use of such rhetoric.
Kernels of truth

Florida's Fenster noted in a telephone interview that to label something a conspiracy theory "is an act of political rhetoric. It's an act of de-legitimization of something." And some of those who study so-called "conspiracy narratives" say it's a mistake to automatically dismiss or marginalize them, because sometimes they hint at a larger truth.

Or they are exactly on target.

In the 1960s, some warned of FBI surveillance of dissidents and infiltration of anti-war and countercultural groups, and they were disdained as paranoid. That very activity, of course, was a staple of the J. Edgar Hoover era, as were Cold War claims that the civil rights, voting rights and other progressive movements were "communist conspiracies."

Fears that the government deliberately spread AIDS and recreational drugs in inner cities may strain credulity, but, in the infamous Tuskegee syphilis program, the U.S. Public Health Service did experiment on 399 black men, a program that ended only in 1972.

Supposedly complicit in the 9/11 cover-ups is the national media cartel - which leads Berlet, of Political Research Associates, to wonder, "How could there be a conspiracy involving the military, the executive branch, Congress and the media in which somebody didn't rat it out and get a Pulitzer Prize?" He adds, "It's very difficult to maintain conspiracies over any length of time with a large number of people. Inevitably, someone rats it out. Or someone gets arrested and turns."
=============================

My comments:

Since the middle ages, governments have used the 'purloined letter' method of de-
legitimization of leaked information, 'hiding it in plain sight'.

When something is leaked or is deduced which is true, the government will make ten thousand slightly different stories which makes the acceptance of any true story very unlikely, mainly because who can figure out which is true and the rest false? Most people, faced with all the slightly different versions, will simply opt out of even checking out any of them, becoming blind followers of the government's version.

Also, the conditioning of the population to the acceptance of those with letters after their names, either political, religious, or academic, allows the government or the terrorists, (especially if they are the same people) to simply put something horrific but true to rest in the popular mind by having a 'accredited authority' come forth and pronounce this one true and that one false. In our culture, it works amazingly well.

As to the idea that someone 'in the know' can come forward and win awards by blowing the lie out of the water and into popular knowledge, it seldom happens because of the 'wipe from history' threat maintained by most terrorists, government or freelance.

If someone talks, tells the truth, they are simply killed, their families are killed, and in the 3rd world, sometimes their entire village was killed, wiping them from existence totally, or as totally as possible.

Winning awards, getting into the public eye, ends quickly when the award winner is killed 'robbing a store' and their family dies in some 'freak but common accident'. This tends to chill anyone else who hears of the events and knows anything.

A myth, you say?

It's called a 'redundant deterrent motivator'.

There are other strategies used to blind the minds of those who seek out what really happened.

The American government has a policy of 'no paper trail' since the viet nam war, and that has gotten easier since everything has gone computerized.

The science of measuring people's personalities and finding those who will do what they are told and not talk about it has jumped by leaps and bounds over the last few decades.

Also, 'accidents' and 'random murders' are really well scripted now. Anyone who has any real proof of government murder finds themselves living the movie 'run from the authorities' scenario, but unlike the movies, they don't survive.

I've often wondered what was going on when the Simson trial was blocking out all other news a decade or so ago, and many other events which blanked out all other news.

Nuff said!

Activism

"So often activism is based on what we are against, what we don't like, what we don't want. It was horrible, but no more horrible than the war itself, and I think that applies to Iraq also. The aftermath of the VN war was millions sick and dying from the after effects of Agent Orange, land mines, and other horrific nastiness used during the war.

The longer we are there, the more poisoned and devastated the countryside will become for generations afterwards, if only from the spent Uranium bullets used there. We must work to get those poor enslaved men and women out of that country and back home, for everyone's sake.

The real problem is the Fascist in government. With the bankruptcy, credit card, and vet degrading bills passed by the Fascists, and their control of the media, now they are going after the universities and colleges, with intent upon decreeing the criteria that can be taught in those schools.

Does this remind anyone of what happened in Germany as Hitler came to power? The Dominionist Fascist agenda is apparently much like the NAZI one, and being implemented as we speak. How do we take back America from well entrenched Fascists?

Voting doesn't do it... they control the process as is apparent after the two coups they have pulled off already. Writing congressmen doesn't do it when the left is scared to death of ending up 'disappeared' or worse, their family as hostages for their behavior, (why else are they so quiet and submissive?), and writing to right wingers might well get you on some list of 'malcontents' or 'liberals'.

Signing petitions is a really dumb thing to do in these times. Ready made lists of 'political traitors who don't support Der Leader'...

It can't be taken back violently unless the military sides with the people, which is unlikely as the German Army siding with the anti-Hitler people in Germany, and frankly, all the guns in all the civilian basements are really just a great way to become a military target. The technology of war and 'intelligence' is too developed to fight a revolution. There's no chance of winning. Everything has changed to make revolution in America impossible.

Now we have to find some peaceful way of raising consciousness or sidestepping the issue with the development of new technologies which short circuit the strategies of the Fascists. This is not some neoNazi skinhead group who want to create a new Nazi America... this is a huge group of religious fascists who have more control, power, and resources than any political or religious group in the history of Humanity. Opinion polls are meaningless in the face of such power.

But we could pool our brains and educations and create technology which could indirectly sidestep the old ways of thinking these Dominionist fascists use in their strategy.

An example from India... change the length of a broom handle and increase the time a person can live without back pain, which changes the way they interact with the younger generations, which helps spread wisdom and perspective through the youth. I'm not suggesting that a broom handle is the answer, but there must be technology not thought of which would change everything in ways that brings freedom despite the best efforts of those who are set on taking it away in the name of their illusionary 'God'.

Lest you think I am speaking of the impossible, it was 'impossible' at the beginning of my lifetime to speak around the world on tiny threads of glass and go to the moon and talk to someone on a phone in a car and half a million other technologies which now shape our world.

If not you, who?You got something better to do with your lifetime of experience and wisdom than save the planet?

End of rant.

"Power always thinks it has a great soul and vast views beyond the comprehension of the weak; and that it is doing God's service when it is violating all hislaws." : John Adams

***********************************

War: first, one hopes to win; then one expects the enemy to lose; then, one is satisfied that he too is suffering; in the end, one is surprised that everyone has lost. : Karl Kraus (1874–1936)

***********************************

"It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificually induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear." : General Douglas MacArthur, Speech, May 15, 1951

From the Onion http://www.theonion.com/

GOD ANGRILY CLARIFIES "DON'T KILL" RULE

NEW YORK — Responding to recent events on Earth, God, the omniscient creator-deity worshipped by billions of followers of various faiths for more than 6,000 years, angrily clarified His longtime stance against humans killing each other Monday.

"Look, I don't know, maybe I haven't made myself completely clear, so for the record, here it is again," said the Lord, His divine face betraying visible emotion during a press conference near the site of the fallen Twin Towers. "Somehow, people keep coming up with the idea that I want them to kill their neighbor. Well, I don't. And to be honest, I'm really getting sick and tired of it. Get it straight. Not only do I not want anybody to kill anyone, but I specifically commanded you not to, in really simple terms that anybody ought to be able to understand."

Worshipped by Christians, Jews, and Muslims alike, God said His name has been invoked countless times over the centuries as a reason to kill in what He called "an unending cycle of violence."

"I don't care how holy somebody claims to be," God said. "If a person tells you it's My will that they kill someone, they're wrong. Got it? I don't care what religion you are, or who you think your enemy is, here it is one more time: No killing, in My name or anyone else's, ever again."

The press conference came as a surprise to humankind, as God rarely intervenes in earthly affairs. As a matter of longstanding policy, He has traditionally left the task of interpreting His message and divine will to clerics, rabbis, priests, imams, and Biblical scholars. Theologians and laymen alike have been given the task of pondering His ineffable mysteries, deciding for themselves what to do as a matter of faith. His decision to manifest on the material plane was motivated by the deep sense of shock, outrage, and sorrow He felt over the Sept. 11 violence carried out in His name, and over its dire potential ramifications around the globe.

"I tried to put it in the simplest possible terms for you people, so you'd get it straight, because I thought it was pretty important," said God, called Yahweh and Allah respectively in the Judaic and Muslim traditions. "I guess I figured I'd left no real room for confusion after putting it in a four-word sentence with one-syllable words, on the tablets I gave to Moses. How much more clear can I get?"

"But somehow, it all gets twisted around and, next thing you know, somebody's spouting off some nonsense about, 'God says I have to kill this guy, God wants me to kill that guy, it's God's will,'" God continued. "It's not God's will, all right? News flash: 'God's will' equals 'Don't murder people.'"

Worse yet, many of the worst violators claim that their actions are justified by passages in the Bible, Torah, and Qur'an.

"To be honest, there's some contradictory stuff in there, okay?" God said. "So I can see how it could be pretty misleading. I admit it—My bad. I did My best to inspire them, but a lot of imperfect human agents have misinterpreted My message over the millennia. Frankly, much of the material that got in there is dogmatic, doctrinal bullshit. I turn My head for a second and, suddenly, all this stuff about homosexuality gets into Leviticus, and everybody thinks it's God's will to kill gays. It absolutely drives Me up the wall."

God praised the overwhelming majority of His Muslim followers as "wonderful, pious people," calling the perpetrators of the Sept. 11 attacks rare exceptions.

"This whole medieval concept of the jihad, or holy war, had all but vanished from the Muslim world in, like, the 10th century, and with good reason," God said. "There's no such thing as a holy war, only unholy ones. The vast majority of Muslims in this world reject the murderous actions of these radical extremists, just like the vast majority of Christians in America are pissed off over those two bigots on The 700 Club."

Continued God, "Read the book: 'Allah is kind, Allah is beautiful, Allah is merciful.' It goes on and on that way, page after page. But, no, some assholes have to come along and revive this stupid holy-war crap just to further their own hateful agenda. So now, everybody thinks Muslims are all murderous barbarians. Thanks, Taliban: 1,000 years of pan-Islamic cultural progress down the drain."

God stressed that His remarks were not directed exclusively at Islamic extremists, but rather at anyone whose ideological zealotry overrides his or her ability to comprehend the core message of all world religions.

"I don't care what faith you are, everybody's been making this same mistake since the dawn of time," God said. "The Muslims massacre the Hindus, the Hindus massacre the Muslims. The Buddhists, everybody massacres the Buddhists. The Jews, don't even get me started on the hardline, right-wing, Meir Kahane-loving Israeli nationalists, man. And the Christians? You people believe in a Messiah who says, 'Turn the other cheek,' but you've been killing everybody you can get your hands on since the Crusades."

Growing increasingly wrathful, God continued: "Can't you people see? What are you, morons? There are a ton of different religious traditions out there, and different cultures worship Me in different ways. But the basic message is always the same: Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Shintoism... every religious belief system under the sun, they all say you're supposed to love your neighbors, folks! It's not that hard a concept to grasp."

"Why would you think I'd want anything else? Humans don't need religion or God as an excuse to kill each other—you've been doing that without any help from Me since you were freaking apes!" God said. "The whole point of believing in God is to have a higher standard of behavior. How obvious can you get?"

"I'm talking to all of you, here!" continued God, His voice rising to a shout. "Do you hear Me? I don't want you to kill anybody. I'm against it, across the board. How many times do I have to say it? Don't kill each other anymore—ever! I'm fucking serious!"

Upon completing His outburst, God fell silent, standing quietly at the podium for several moments. Then, witnesses reported, God's shoulders began to shake, and He wept.

Subject: Letter from a veteran

Date: Tue, 30 Aug 2005 11:01:27 -0500

Folks,

For those who believe that public opposition to the war at home undermines the morale of troops in combat, here is a point of view from someone who knows what he is talking about. For the record, many I served with in Viet Nam were angry about the protests in the US (in no small part because we were demonized in the process), but they were not demoralized by it. They, like those of us who thought as the writer of this letter below does, were demoralized by incompetent, careerist leaders, a lack of rational strategy and politicians who play the game for their benefit with our lives. THAT was demoralizing.

Please pass this along, particularly to those who, without benefit of war time experience, claim that protesting the war demoralizes the troops.

Honor the warrior, not the war

Bring our troops home, now

Take care of them we they get home

Dave Collins

Austin contact, Viet Nam Veterans Against the War
=====================================================
http://www.lodinews.com/articles/2005/08/29/opinion/ltr_neely_050829.txt

Support our troops by keeping them out of war

I am a retired Army captain. I fought in Vietnam with the 196th LightInfantry Brigade. In Vietnam, I walked the jungle carrying an M-16. I know about anti-war protest, as I grew up in California during the 1960s.

Some people think that because someone does not support the war, that they do not support our troops. That is just not reality. There might be some soldiers who believe that protest equals lack of support, but the vast majority that I served with knew protesters were trying to end the madness.

Yes, we went over there, and yes, we fought the war, but almost none of us wanted to be there. But we stayed there and we fought, because that is what soldiers do.

Thank God that while we were there doing that, some brave people back here had the courage to stand up to say that war was wrong.

Thank God they were brave enough to act on their convictions and stand upto a government that had lied to us.
I applaud you! Maybe you could have treated me a little better when I got back, but that's another letter.

However, I do find incredibly offensive those who have never fought a war, never fired a shot at another human being, never been shot at or hunted, or never had to listen as a good friend screams in agony, sending or supporting the sending of our brave soldiers to war for lies.

Look at the facts. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

There were no connections with the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

There were no reasons to go to war. You should be outraged.

You want to support our troops?

Keep them out of war and get rid of those who would put them in harm's way, unless absolutely necessary.

Maybe we can't leave Iraq immediately because of the mess we created, but we should get rid of those responsible for the current situation.

God bless our troops. I do not support the war, but I do support you.

George Neely

Lodi
====================================================================

I'm writing and posting this because I think Evil Emperor Bush is going to make it illegal to post anything on the Internet that criticizes or opposes him or his policies.

Let me say that again:

I'm writing and posting this because I think Evil Emperor Bush is going to make it illegal to post anything on the Internet,(and anywhere else,) that criticizes or opposes him or his policies!

I keep hearing these people who consider themselves "Conservative Patriots" saying that protestors are like noisy teens, ...or 'just' hippies, ...or inappropriate, ...or even TRAITORS! ...by not mindlessly supporting the President just because he is President and therefore must be right and sane and good.

(Aren't they thinking that 'God is on Our Side' and therefore Bush must be God's choice to lead us?)

'Supporting the troops' is somehow the reason for what they are saying.

Supporting the troops IS TO DO WHAT IS BEST FOR THE TROOPS, and when a traitor has taken over America with a coup and seems bent on creating a Holy American Fascist Empire over the bloody bodies of America's sons and daughters, THEN TO OPPOSE HIM IS SUPPORTING THE TROOPS, because they cannot do much against him, can they? And it is certainly not 'supporting them' if you support an evil fascist war and they come home in boxes, is it?

I think those who support Bush while thinking they are supporting the troops are not much different than those who are supporting the terrorists who fight against America. I think both are supporting terriorism and NOT supporting the troops, on either side.

I think it is traitorous to quietly sit back and let a tyrant take over your country. Protest IS the proper patriotic response to tyranny. I think it is not patriotic to support a tyrant's war killing your own citizens.

The soldiers who go believe in their Country, in defending their homes, and believe in what they are told, (---I certainly did during Viet Nam---) but once they find out what is going down, they should do what they can to stop the war. Putting your life on the line for America sometimes means putting your life on the line against tyrants when they have taken over America.

And no, I'm not talking about a civil war or revolution or anything like that. During Viet Nam, many soldiers didn't fight the war once they found out they were being sacrificed for the egos of old men making fortunes off their wounds and deaths, they simply stopped fighting instead. It is one thing to defend America and quite another to die for an insane Fascist President and his evil or duped cronies, who are making fortunes off the death of, and murder done, by patriotic soldiers.

(Soldiers are not mindless organic killing machines who have to do what they are told regardless of how evil the orders are or why they are given. Every soldier knows he is responsible for what he does regardless of his orders. God does not abolish his responsibility for what he does.)

What do you do when YOUR country is taken over by a bunch of cutthroat mobsters?

I think it is horribly traitorous to support a tyrant who has used the fear of a terrorist act to strip every American of every right in the Constitution of the United States! The vow every soldier takes is, or at least was, to defend the Constitution, not the tyrant just because he has manipulated himself into power... AND sometimes that means doing the unthinkable, whatever that might be. Bush is destroying America more than any terrorist ever had or could, and frankly, he is gaining on Hitler and Pol Pot in his infamy.

Republicans are supposed to be for the rights of the individual, for smaller government and less centralized government control of people's lives, for fiscal responsibility, for security... but Bush is tearing the republican goals to shreds, using their blind patriotism against them and against every American! He has taken away every right in the Constitution, swollen the federal government to a size never before seen, centralized power to such a degree the media is scared to tell the truth about it, written himself and his cronies a blank check which is bankrupting everyone in the country, and taken away all security from everyone.

There is so much that Bush the traitor has done that his supporters have to ignore, I think it puts many of them in the category of 'good Germans' during the rise of Hitler. Do I think he would, or will, set up concentration camps and kill people in mass? Ever see what a BunkerBuster bomb does to the people killed by it? There is little difference.

I really don't think anything is beyond his and his employers, whoever they are, who bought him his position, including killing millions of Americans as well as making America into a 3rd world country. He got in by a coup, kept it by intimidating his opponents with bought and paid for political appointees, and now he is killing the people. How much more do people need to see to understand what he is?

And I'm not predicting anything... all this is already done, and will America accept it? Remember, every German SS soldier's belt buckle had "God's on our side" on it. The Germans accepted it. And they learned the hard way the cost of freedom.
